A big discerning factor for people/companies to utilize Documoto is the time savings they can take advantage of, from former processes. From utilizing Templates in Admin Center to create a jumping off point for a book or using Copy Access controls to assign content to a newly created Organization, there are numerous areas of the Documoto application that speed up the content creation or administrative work for Documoto users. What is a feature that has helped you save time in your day to day process? If you could please describe the feature used, location in the Documoto application or any other application that it is found, and how it’s helped save you time it may help another user be more productive with their workload.

A critical step in the publishing process is making sure your data is cleansed prior to uploading it into Documoto. Depending on the complexity of content, this can be a quick or some times lengthy process. In either case, the end result is worth the work upfront. In your experience, what has been a crucial step in the cleansing process? Do you have any suggestions for things to keep an eye out for when cleansing the Bill of Materials (BOM)?

Most manufacturers create complex engineering diagrams in a CAD software, but need to export it to a image file type like .jpg, .tif, .png, or .svg in order to import it into DocuStudio to create a page in Documoto. While each file type has it’s similarities and difference’s one of the best image types to use is a .svg. With a .svg, you can utilize the SVG Auto Hotpointing algorithm in DocuStudio in order to hotpoint the page faster with over 99% accuracy. Depending on the CAD software used, there are various ways to export a CAD drawing into other image formats. Could you please explain the process you use to export the drawing into a usable file for DocuStudio? The Documoto Library is an intuitive online platform that generally requires minimal end user training. However, depending on the user role (ex. Internal Users or End Users) and how you want to guide users to use various features in the application, the way you train users to use Documoto can vary. What are some methods you use for on boarding new users? Do you go through a hands on training, point them towards the Knowledge Base, or something else? Please explain some of your process below.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) are a great thing to track in order to gauge how your end users are using and utilizing Documoto. Keeping an eye on KPI’s on a monthly or quarterly basis can help you know when things are going well or when things possibly need improvement in order for end users to get the most out of Documoto. Different industries look for different indicators, but there are some that are universal such as number of logins or number of orders in a period of time. Whether it’s reports ran within Documoto using the Reporting module or special requests sent to the Services team, what are some reports you run or have ran in order to track KPI’s? Also, what are some metrics that you classify as a positive or negative when reviewing the reports?

Adoption can be a complex task at times. We have seen both sides of the coin, some people love the self-service ability to look up parts and owner information on their own without having to call in their order. On the other hand some people love the connection of working with a person on the phone or over email in order to ensure they’re getting the part they need. Whether you end users fall into the first or second category, what are some actions you have taken to drive adoption of Documoto with your customer base? Are there things you have tried that worked better than others? If so, please explain.
