Show Which Parts Have 3D Thumbnail In Global Parts List

When uploading 3D models, it would be helpful to see which items in the global parts list has a 3D model attached to it and which ones don't. It becomes difficult to keep track of which ones have been uploaded, and which ones haven't.

Got it - Thank you for the clarification, Bill! Once we release the change to introduce the thumbnail fallback to 3D everywhere in the app, l'll reach out to see if adding the 3D icon elsewhere is still desired.

Yes, in the admin center. It wouldn't have to display the thumbnail image. I was thinking if it displayed the picture icon or the 3D icon that appears on the BOM would be enough. Currently I can only see if a part has an attached thumbnail from the BOM or by going to the item page. It makes scanning the global list difficult to see if I have any parts missing images.

Hi Bill! When you reference the 'global parts list', are you referring to the Admin Center here?:

We do have an enhancement planned soon to display the 3D Model as the thumbnail in the grid (on the very left where you see the default screw icon) when a 3D model has been applied. Would that help with this use case?
