Exporting 3D Assembly Models from Inventor

Documoto supports importing stand-alone IPT files as 3D thumbnails.
However, IAM files alone do not contain all of the 3D model details to generate a complete 3D model (this would be true in the Documoto 3D Viewer, or any 3D solution).
To import a 3D model that represents a complete assembly from Inventor, there are two options:
- "Save As" the assembly as a .stp or other supported 3D file format and import the STP file into Documoto > Part Editor > 3D Tools
- Use the "Pack and Go" Inventor capability to export a flat .zip file (without a folder directory) of all of the IAM and IPT files for that assembly. You can import the .zip file into Documoto > Part Editor > 3D Tools, and specify the root assembly filename (ex. 123.iam) to import the packaged export.
