Publisher - Ability to Relate Pages to Pages
Daniel Callif
As a Publisher, I would like to have the ability to “Relate” a page to a page for cases when two assemblies are related to one another but the individual components or parts on those pages are not and therefore a hotpoint link does not apply.
Comments:
Hotpoint Links can perform a “part to page” relationship but it doesn’t always make sense to create a Hotpoint Link. For instance, we may have two pages A and B. Those pages relate to each other, but none of the parts on page A directly relate to page B, and vice versa. Relating pages to pages would fill a hole that Hotpoint Links and the current relationship restrictions cannot.

Votes definitely help us see what is important to our customers, but they are not the only factor we use to prioritize new features. When evaluating enhancements, we also look at:
- How well it aligns with our overall product strategy
- The level of effort and technical feasibility
- The broader impact across our customer base
- How it fits into our existing system and roadmap
- Additional feedback from customers, partners, and internal teams
Some ideas might get a lot of votes but require deeper research, have dependencies, or need more planning before we can commit to them. That said, we are always reviewing top requests and factoring them into our roadmap discussions.
We’ll keep you posted here as things progress. Further, we would also love to hear more about how this would impact your day-to-day. If those interested could share any additional details about use cases this would be helpful for, it would be appreciated - your input will help to shape how we approach any changes to Related content.
